About the mission

The Space_Ready 3 analog mission was a research-intensive mission focused on closed-habitat systems, human–machine interaction, and environmental monitoring under space-analogue conditions.

One major study investigated humidity transport and condensation risk inside a confined lunar habitat using continuous environmental sensor data and numerical diffusion models. As part of this work, the Micropura sensor system was tested in operational conditions to evaluate its performance in closed and resource-limited environments.

Another key project examined how habitat stressors affect teleoperation accuracy, analyzing their impact on precision, response time, and reliability during remote robotic control tasks. The results are relevant for future planetary missions involving robotic telepresence.

The mission also included research on biopolymer humidity sensors based on graphene oxide materials, aiming to develop low-cost, reliable tools for continuous environmental monitoring in space habitats and isolated terrestrial environments.

In addition, acoustic studies were conducted to measure and analyze habitat noise, with particular attention to low-frequency exposure and its possible effects on crew fatigue, well-being, and operational safety.

Overall, Space_Ready 3 contributed valuable knowledge to habitat environmental modeling, sensor development, human performance under stress, and the operation of closed analog space environments.
